Ford demonstrates consideration for the environment with their new line of hybrid vehicles. At Henry Day Ford in West Valley City, Utah, we are proud to be a part of this Ford movement. Head down to any of the Ford dealers in Utah to check out these amazing hybrid cars.
Fusion Hybrid SE and Fusion Energi SE
The new 2017 Ford Fusion Hybrid SE and Fusion Energi SE are not only a good looking cars, but fuel and energy efficient vehicles. This Fusion Hybrid is the size of a regular Ford Fusion, but it has 1.4 kWh lithium-ion battery. The Fusion Energi — an electric car — on the other hand has a 7.4 kWh lithium-ion battery.
Both the Ford Fusion Hybrid SE and For Fusion Energi SE come with the SmartGuage and EcoGuide. These dashboard tools help drivers see the real-time efficiency of their vehicles and allows them to adjust their driving to be even more efficient.
Both of these Fusion models have regenerative braking. With the help of cutting-edge technology, 94 percent of the kinetic energy that is created from braking is transferred to the battery.
C-Max Hybrid SEL and C-Max Energi
The small compact Ford C-Max Hybrid and C-Max Energi both include a 2.0L I-4 Atkinson-cycle engine with an electric motor. This engine combination produces 188 horsepower. Not bad for energy efficient compact cars in Utah or anywhere in the world.
Both the compact Hybrid and Energy have an Intelligent Access Key that allows you to unlock your car without taking the key from your pocket. Once inside the vehicles, they can be started by pressing the brake pedal and pushing the start button.
Just like the Ford Fusion Hybrid and Energi, both C-Max models have the SmartGuage with EcoGuide integrated into the dashboard.
The Ford Focus Electric is all electric. Drivers of this beautiful vehicle don’t have to worry about fueling up on gas or getting an oil change. Instead, drivers merely have to plug it in at their homes in Utah or a charging station in the city. Easy.
The Focus Electric is also equipped with the SmartGuage and EcoGuide in the dashboard. The interface is slightly different from the hybrid cars because the Focus Electric is entirely electric. Instead the dashboard shows the current charge of the battery and has a braking coach that helps the regenerative brakes give back the maximum amount of energy possible.
