Hybrid and Electric Cars in Comparison

Ford has been a leader in vehicle manufacturing for decades now, and as a leader it is important for them to appeal to their customers, providing affordable as well as ecofriendly cars. There are two types of cars that Ford has released to meet these standards.

The Ford Focus, an electric car that runs purely on electricity. And the Ford Fusion, a hybrid which runs both on gas and electric power. One main difference between hybrid and electric cars deals with batteries. Hybrid cars can recharge their batteries while driving, having extra power provided by the gas burning engine.

An electric car relies only on electricity, and will run only if the battery is charged. If you’re planning on driving from West Valley City, Utah to Sin City in an electric car, make sure you have the appropriate charge for the trip and charge your car when needed.
