The Ford F-Series is now the official truck of the NFL, and the partnership between two of America’s favorite past times means nothing but good things for fans. It only makes sense that trucks like the Ford F150 or Ford Super Duty, which symbolize American toughness, are now partnering with America’s toughest athletes.
“We’re proud to be partnering with such a legendary American brand and look forward to helping Ford trucks become synonymous with the country’s most popular sports league,” Renie Anderson, the senior vice president of sponsorship and partnership management for the NFL, said.
A Tailgating Experience Like Never Before
The partnership sparked Ford to take its Ford F150 and other F-Series trucks to NFL games throughout the country to give fans the ultimate tailgate experience. The Built Ford Tough Tailgates On Demand will happen on game days at NFL stadiums throughout the country, and they’ll serve as a great hub for fans of all football teams to come together to eat, drink and take part in exclusive events and contests.
One of those exclusive contests will be the Built Ford Tough Toughest Ticket. The sweepstakes will give football fans a chance to win two tickets to Super Bowl LI and a 2017 Ford F-Series Super Duty, which will be customized to show off their favorite NFL team.
Built Ford Tough Offensive Line of the Week
Ford will also start recognizing the best NFL offensive line every week every Tuesday afternoon on NFL.com/Ford. Former NFL offensive lineman Shaun O’Hara will take in all of the games from the week and through stats, knowledge and other factors, O’Hara will make the most accurate decision of who was the best offensive line in the NFL every week.
How to Show Your Fandom for Ford and the NFL
Going to a Ford tailgate party is as easy as showing up to the parking lot of your favorite team’s stadium on game day. But for those of us who live in West Valley City, Utah and don’t have easy access to your favorite NFL team, we can show off our fandom by getting a new truck at one of our local Ford dealers.
