Driving into the New Year

The end of the year means new beginnings. The new year always brings new resolutions when it comes to things you want to change in your life. Instead of setting resolutions that you keep for about a week, set some goals that will be easy to keep throughout the entire year. Just like how you need a little extra personal care, so does your Ford F150. Keep your Ford Fusion or whatever car you might drive through Salt Lake City in good shape by keeping these resolutions this new year.

Change Your Oil

One resolution you can make is to be sure your oil change is done on time. It is important to know when you need to change your oil; some cars you don’t need to change it as often as others. On average, your oil should be changed every 3,000 miles. Changing the oil when it needs to be changed will not only extend the life of your car, but decrease the wear and tear as well. If you aren’t sure how often your oil needs to be changed in your Ford Focus, a Ford dealer will be able to help you out.

Chill Out

It is really easy to get frustrated while driving. For a resolution this year, vow to stay calm on the road. Put the brakes on instead of speeding up to not let the car next to you in your lane. Don’t cut people off. Try focusing on building better driving habits to keep everyone safe.

Don’t Text and Drive

This is probably the best resolution you can make; don’t text and drive. You and all the drivers around you will be safer in the long run. Put down your phone to keep you and your family safe.

These are a couple resolutions that will keep your car in good shape as well as keep you and your family safe on the road for the new year.
